first day of work

Its my first day of work... and nothing... but its the first day of work. So i had to ask for work from jello, the one who's training me in accounts. She told me i'd be going with her to pangasinan on friday and saturday. Yipee! out of town work! im loving it already. She said id be taking charge too of a print ad soon. My excitement is actually quite obvious. there was a constant grin on my face. From the moment i stepped in with jinky (who also happens to be taking her ojt around makati too) i was excited. Fear was not in the picture today. But i feel it coming soon. Blah. i want this. Fear can help you, or break you. Jinky was annoyed at me. She was scared for her first day. Its wierd cause this is actually my first JOB, and shes only taking her practicum. She was scared of not being able to fit in. i told her "don't fit in, stand out." It seemed to have calmed her for about 10 seconds and she started panicking again... haaay jeng. But it was nice having her with me on my first day. We had lunch at GT towers. Jello wasnt in yet so i figured id take mine already so i can work with jello straight without a break.

After lunch was getting- back- to- "work" time. I finally got to talk to my adviser. She then tells me about the trip this weekend and i said yes almost immediately. But afterwards... nothing. Seeing jello researching about pangasinan, i asked her voluntarily if i could help. And finally she gave me some work to do. It turns out i was a big help. I knew a bit about the place. thank god. i though id suck the first day. but she had to leave for a meeting and i get off at 5:30 pa... and ym and friendster is firewalled... hwaaaaa... but i like this. im with my element. People here are nice, up and about. and so will i. woohoo!!!
