blah

Its only 11:12 am and I’m already looking forward to going home. Ian had to stay with his mom at the hospital leaving me weak and somewhat defenseless… It’s beginning to become a struggle every morning to wake up, dress up and go to the office. But now, unlike before, Ian’s not the only reason for me to stay.

Close friends. Initially being a trainee would mean having to hang out with them more often during breaks. They are the ones who are in the same level and situation as you are in—new, innocent and full of energy. Not only were we situated in the same account, but we started almost the same time. I came a few days ahead of them, but we’re all burning out.

Questions. There are tons of questions seeping through our brain. Last night, in our little discussion in the office, each one confessed. Ayoko na. After that came a series of questions on how and when. It was like a walk-out by the three of us. We needed to escape, to let go of this horrible industry who takes away our precious time with family and friends, especially for ourselves. Slowly, we become slaves.

Leave-behinds. What could I leave behind? What kind of presence would I leave at the agency? Do I even really care? Maybe it’s worth dropping everything at work and just walk through the door empty handed. Leave the agency. Veer far far away from things that have to do with creatives…

Tired. This early in the morning, I’m already tired of thinking this way. Tired of having to put up with so many things that does not translate to my salary or my sanity. Tired of being tired.

- Live like there's no tomorrow. Love like it's your last.
